deactivate cache mode for shared mailboxes

With shared mailboxes it happens from time to time that folders that are created are not immediately visible or mail items cannot be moved.

To solve this problem, it is recommended to deactivate the option "Download shared folders".

This option can be found as follows:

  1. Click on "File" in Outlook
  2. Click on the button "Account settings".
  3. Click on the option "Account settings" in the drop-down menu.
  4. Double-click on the standard Exchange account to open the settings.
  5. In the settings, click on the button "Further settings".
  6. Open the tab "Advanced" in the additional window.
  7. Deactivate the option "Download shared mailboxes".
  8. Now confirm all windows with OK and close them.



If the missing folder still is not visible, you need to restart Outlook.
